You have to Know What Safer Sex Is: For some reason, young people tend to believe that nothing can happen to them the first time that they have sex. Unfortunately, this is not true. Plenty of young people have become pregnant, have caught a sexually transmitted disease, and have even caught HIV after having sex for their first time. So if you decide that you are ready to have sex, you have to understand that you are putting yourself at risk for all of the above-mentioned items.
But, there are safer ways to have sex, and you must be informed about these ways. You can get an oral sexually transmitted disease in your mouth, you can get a sexually transmitted disease in your vagina or on your penis, and you can get infected with a blood disease such as HIV or hepatitis. As I mentioned before, there is no such thing as safe sex but we can do some things that will keep you a little safer than if you did not protect yourself and all.
