Just because everyone else is doing it, does not mean that you have to do it.
SEX CAN WAIT: Pressure from television, music, and friends may cause you to think that you should have sex. But this is not the case. You do not have to do anything that you feel is not right for you. In fact, people should wait until they are married to have sex.
You have to always remember that your body is sacred. You are special and so is every part of your body. When you give your body away (have sex with many different people) you leave pieces of yourself behind: pieces of your soul, pieces of your heart, pieces of your mind, and pieces of your body. If you leave piece after piece after piece behind, then you may look up one day and discover you have no more pieces. When you realize that so much of yourself has been given away, you may begin to feel sad and very lonely.
Plan to wait until you are married to have your first sexual experience. If you and your partner plan to wait, the first time will be something truely special and meaningful. Knowing you value yourself enough to wait. Knowing that your partner values you enough to wait. Choosing to only share pieces of your soul with someone who loves, respects and cares about you will be one of the most rewarding and fantastic things you can do for yourself.
