Liar Liar, I think my boyfriend/girlfriend might have an STD but he/she keeps lying about it, what should I do?
In a country with a divorce rate of 50 %, it is safe to assume that a large number of relationships will eventually come to an end. If you have any suspicions that he/she might be infected with an STD tell him/her that you want to go with them to the doctor so that both of you can get complete STD/HIV checks. Present your suggestion in a non-threatening way by saying that you think that both of you should get checked out. Do not settle for him/her telling you that they already went and everything checked out. You need to see the results with your own eyes.
It is sometimes a tough conversation to have, but in order to keep yourself safe you have to do it.
