New Study: PTSD and sadness may be passed through a parent's DNA to their offspring. The stories begin with kids who've had flashbacks of wars that they never fought in, but their parents had... I will never forget my 1st experience scuba diving. I took the classes and felt more than ready to conquer the pristine waters of Jamaica. As soon as I descended about twenty feet down I started to witness a wreck of a slave ship. The waters became tortuous , women and children in shackles were naked and drowning, and of course I rushed to the surface in a panic. I surfaced to blue calm waters and sunshine that was next to none...I spent so much time trying to figure out why and how I had such real images. Did one of my great great great grandparents survive a wreck along the middle passage??..I spent a lot of time looking for answers, but of course I never found any..
The implication of passing trauma to your offspring is huge!! Traumatic events get stored and etched into our DNA...I can't wait to learn more about this topic.
I wrote this article because I am seeing more and more relationships fall victim to Oversharing on Facebook. Some of the oversharing is a bit extreme, a bit exaggerated, a bit untrue, and a bit braggy lol...Perhaps you or someone you love is oversharing. If so, overshare this article : ) Oversharing on social sucks the life right out of relationships. Oversharing vs Sharing: drrachael.com/oversharing-ruins-relationships/... See MoreSee Less
Doctors as monsters. This phenomena goes back to the beginning of time. Slave owners and governments have used doctors to carry out grotesque orders and experiments...and believe it or not, some doctors continue to carry out evil orders handed down from wherever on whomever. This is the perfect example. These two doctors were mutilating the genitals of little girls right here in Detroit...they told the girls they were 'getting the germs out of the vagina'....right before they removed their tiny clitoris. Their defense? That they were simply performing religious ceremony.
I can't help but wonder if Dr. Nagarwala, an American born physician, still has her own clitoris...and of course I wonder how much she charged for each mutilation procedure.
